Samhyun Co., Ltd. is a motion control specialist company founded in 1988, headquartered at 45 Jukjeon-ro, Uichang-gu, Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do. The company provides electrification systems and eco-friendly mobility solutions across various industries, including automotive, shipbuilding, robotics, defense, and urban air mobility (UAM), with a particular focus on manufacturing smart actuators and smart power units.

In 2003, Samhyun established an affiliated research institute and began developing electrification actuators. The company successfully developed a DCT motor in 2014, the world’s first CVVD engine-specific actuator in 2019, and localized the Shift-By-Wire (SBW) actuator for transmissions in 2020, which is now in mass production. As of 2023, Samhyun reported an annual revenue of approximately 99.8 billion KRW and employs around 239 people.

Recently, the company invested 52 billion KRW in expanding its facility within the Changwon National Industrial Complex, adding a 6,500-pyeong (approximately 21,500 square meters) site and creating 50 new jobs, demonstrating continued growth.
