Raion Robotics Co., Ltd. is a startup founded in October 2023 as a spin-off from the Robotics and Intelligence Lab (RAILAB) in KAIST’s Department of Mechanical Engineering. With over a decade of research and development experience in quadrupedal robot control, Raion Robotics has developed the LAIBO series of quadrupedal robots. In particular, LAIBO 2 is capable of stable walking even on unstructured terrain and can move at a speed of 4 meters per second.
