Our electrothermal de-icers are made with a PCB encapsulated between two insulating elastomer or composite materials bonded to the protected surface.
In addition to that, we can provide anti-erosion polyurethane coatings or paint.
An operating temperature up to 120°C(248°F) generates sufficient energy to maintain the surface temperature above zero when flying under severe environmental conditions (outside temperature of -30°C or -82°F). This protection can work as anti-icing (continual operation) or de-icing (cyclic operation).
