Daeil Industries was founded on July 12, 1987, in Guro-gu, Seoul, South Korea. On January 1, 1990, the company was incorporated as Daeil Industries Co., Ltd. The company relocated its factory to Bugae-dong, Buk-gu, Incheon on January 20, 1988, and later moved to Seongjeong-dong, Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do on June 17, 1992. Its current location in Jiksan-eup, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan was established on February 14, 2005.

Daeil Industries was designated as a military service exemption company on December 21, 1993, and established a corporate research institute on October 23, 2001. The company obtained ISO 9002 certification on December 15, 1998, TS 16949 certification on August 18, 2006, and ISO 14000 certification on April 18, 2007.
